i am moving into a bigger flat next door. it is covered in layers & layers of dust that my friends & i scrub while singing "it ain't me, babe" & whistling. i will have more space to love, & a new best-friend neighbour who will be in the little room in which i sit now that i have grown to love so dearly, but often feel claustrophobic in. i hope that i can languidly cloud-watch over the rooftops in my new place; i have a view of the pantheon over a writing desk & reading chair by the small square window. pastry parties (seen above) will be able to involve more pastries & more party!
now that les giboulees de mars are finally finished with, april in paris is everything that everyone promises: spring is springing! there are daffodils, hyacinths, chevre-feuilles (which, although you might be inclined to think along the lines of goat-leaves, apparently translates to honeysuckle), and pansies budding - no, blooming - in the parks of paris. i can feel something starting (spring always makes me grow vaguely but immensely nostalgic).
it is my birthday soon! if you read this, please send cards to the address on your left.

h,
happy last day of the twentieth! my perhappiness is your perhappiness (and in truth, mine is the borrowing from an obscure brazilian poet...)
to change the blog background, you need to cipher through the html-code and change url link for the background to your own .jpeg image. it's near the beginning & here's exactly what you're looking for:
body {
margin:0;
padding:0;
font-size: small;
text-align:center;
color:$textColor;
line-height:1.3em;
background:#483521 url(http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_u8s8d6zbXiY/R_YpCo6g0dI/AAAAAAAAAmQ/ecpgWjq4FtA/s400/FFGRT.jpg) repeat;
}
love & one thousand glorious birthday-day moments!
