afternoon tea: tea with my parents in place de la contrescarpe on their first day in paris, expensive tea from an extensive tea menu at at 17th century tea house on rue bourg-tibourg, & an improvisational sport of adding a star of anise, a slice of fresh ginger with J, some cinnamon bark, & three dried rosebuds to the copper-coloured belly of my moroccan tin tea potto share with A or H. i invited C up to my room for tea a while ago; he sat at the desk, watching the pantheon, & smiled. "this is one of those moments, one of those paris moments, where i feel at home."
