1. at the place monge market for fancy dinner party supplies (we made sliced spring salad & rosemary citrus steamed salmon), the kumquats looked just like the cherry tomatoes!
2. the most delectable, deluxe, completely delirious afternoon picnic of macarons from the boutique boulangerie, pierre herme: we sat by the cherry trees, now in effulgent blossom, in the less tame corner of the luxembourg gardens.
