outside of the lines


i press my body parts onto pages
torn from abandoned french encyclopedias; i
trace the outlines of my ankle, knee,
wrist, elbow, waist,
ears, lips.



mes oreilles, mes orteils,
mon genou et mon cou:
every part of me
wants every part of you.
