a letter from my grand-dad

"HI,

To-day we had an outing to the Little Chef near Cirencester. My cowslips are starting to come into flower. When I was commuting twice a week to Nottingham in 1997, the Latton by-pass was under construction, so it is a road I am familiar with, and now swathes of cowslips are developing. They are just starting to flower.Mum got the car out of the garage and drove to just before Liddington. Then I drove the rest of the way. I had an 'Olympic brakfast', Mum Had an 'Early Starter.' So we are starting to come out of hibernation."
