a dash of danube in her veins

to budapest tomorrow! to prague, sometime after that, to be figured out in a last-minute prioritization & seat-of-pant decision between another day languishing in the baths & exploring different castles along different literary rivers.

of late, i have been obambulating with the serious intention of having no intention; drinking lots of coffee; taking multiplicitous baths; staying in bed, if not all day, then until very late; sitting at cash register in the front, centre of shakespeare & company & feeling like a conductor & almost-over-steeped in all the people that came before me. i have been having many realizations, probably ones i've had several times over, but that come as new each time: we are all separate.
to figure out: why i like that feeling of empty burning hope embroidered with realization of impossibility.
