morning! forgot about the class museum visit so i have an extra hour to dance in my pajamas! & drink far too much coffee! make myself a latte with soy milk but burn the milk & it spills all over my hotplates! try to clean it, but before the burner has cooled: now my little room smells of burnt milk & burnt towel.
morning! i love how the forecast calls for rain & cloud ten days straight, but every morning the sun pops over the rooftops & fills my room right up to the brim!
last night i went to a cookbook release party at Shakespeare & Company: it was Chocolate & Zucchini's new book called "Daily Adventures in a Parisian Kitchen." there was pumpkin spice cake & pepper-chocolate cookies for afters. i sat in the front, eager-faced & hungry; i had forgotten to eat lunch. i am so excited to buy fennel from the market & braise it up.
